Can’t-miss Fall Festivals Around Flagstaff’s Golf Communities
If you live in or around any of Flagstaff’s golf clubs, you probably already know that Flagstaff is host to many festivals and cultural events. The fall season is probably one of the most family-oriented times for festivals all around the country, and Flagstaff is no different.
Here are some of the ones we found this year.
Coconino County Fair
September 2-5, 2016
The County Fair features amazing local and national acts each year. Entertainment is available all day, every day – over 40 hours worth! Edutainment finds that balance between fun and educational. County Parks and Recreation strives to bring in different groups that can provide both elements to the County Fair.
Wine in the Woods
September 11, 2016, 1:00pm – 5:00pm
Wine in the Woods—AZ Style brings several regionally produced Arizona wineries to one place for you to sample some of these delicious wines. Pairing with some of Northern Arizona’s best seasonally influenced restaurants – Criollo and The Cottage Place – to offer incredible samplings of regional cuisine and wine all enjoyed among the lush scenery of the Arboretum.

- $35 Public in advance / $45 Public day of event
- $30 Members in advance / $40 Members day of event
- Children 12 and under enter for free when accompanied by parent.
(prices include 10 tasting tickets and a commemorative Wine in the Woods wine glass)
$5 parking fee for Arboretum parking lot.
Cornucopia Fall Festival
September 24, 2016, 10am-9pm
Cornucopia is a community wide celebration of fall, the turning of the leaves and PUMPKINS!
Cornucopia offers a great opportunity for the community to come together and give thanks by celebrating Flagstaff with fall-themed attractions, carnival rides, pumpkin patch, horse drawn hay rides, live entertainment, delicious fall food and beverages, a giant Kid Zone and a ton of local vendors!
Admission
$5 general admission and FREE for kids 6 and under
$50 VIP for adults/$15 for kids 7-20
Haunted Hayride and Boo-ffet
October 22, 2016, 5:30pm
This event takes place at the Forest Highlands country club in Flagstaff, AZ. Don’t forget to reserve your spot! Hayrides every 30 minutes.
Pumpkin Walk and Fall Fest
October 22, 2016, 3:00pm – 8:00pm
Walk through the Arboretum fall gardens on trails lit by glowing Jack-o-Lanterns. Celebrate the fall season in your best costume with hayrides, hot cider and cocoa, apple bobbing, great food from Good Times Rolling Kitchen, spooky stories and performances by a campfire. Win prizes for pumpkin entries. This is our favorite family event for the year!
DON’T FORGET TO BRING YOUR FLASHLIGHTS!
Bring and carve a pumpkin on 4pm – 7pm Friday, October 21st at Lumberyard Brewery! Have a beer and carve a pumpkin then receive $2 off entry fee on Saturday!
